A Conversation between the Sun and the Moon

We have heard and read a lot about this Super Moon over the past week or so.
And of course it is super; at this time a little closer, a little bigger, a little brighter.

But what interests me most about her is that she is always full, always there, always with the same side facing us, even when we can’t see her. The difference between no-Moon—or half-Moon, or crescent-Moon—and the full Moon is the position of the Sun and the light he shines on her. When the Sun shines fully on the surface of the Moon that faces us, we see what we call a “full” moon—though she is always full even when no light falls on her surface at all.

So the striking effects associated with the full Moon that we are familiar with do not come from a “fuller” or a closer moon; the tides and the light and the changes in mood and how we see the world do not come from the Moon only. They come from the conversation between the Moon and the Sun—a dialogue between the feminine and masculine essence. This conversation is the nature of the super Moon.

And it is the nature of everything else too.
